IASPM XXI 2022 participants:
Welcome to Day 3 of the IASPM XXI 2022 conference. I hope you enjoyed the live concert streaming last night despite inconvenient time differences. Today, we have a tight but exciting schedule ahead that will keep you awake.
SPOTLIGHT SESSIONS
8:30-10:30am KST (UTC+9)
We have three parallel spotlight sessions this morning. The spotlights focus on popular music in East and Southeast Asia, techno-economics of music streaming for musicians, and diverse issues and conversations in ecomusicology respectively.
THREE PARALLEL SESSIONS
Sessions 6: 11am-1pm
Sessions 7: 2-4pm
Sessions 8: 4:30-6:30pm
We also have a total of 18 sessions today in three consecutive time slots. We have a sister event offered by the Korean Association for the Study of Popular Music (KASPM). If you are in Daegu and can speak Korean, this is worth checking out (Room 322). And virtual screening: we also have a replay of Korean classic music films in the afternoon.
